Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. After emigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. From 2013 to 2016, she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. She rose to fame for her role in television commercials. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being featured in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also a Jew. When she was two years old She and her parents relocated to the U.S. as refugees to avoid antisemitism and settled in West Hollywood. At the age of five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and earned a GED. She continued however to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
