  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, better known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American musician and rapper. His stage name is the namesake of a favorite uncle combined with the first name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. 's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut studio album. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the lead track. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) hit number one on the Billboard 200. In the following year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the name group Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs reach the top spot within less than a year.
